During the Mount Vernon Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 9 am - 2 pm, you can peruse tempting offerings like baked goods, coffee, local honey, fresh farm produce as well as handmade items by area artisans.

Did you know that the Tulip Tower in downtown Mount Vernon is a 90-foot iconic structure that used to be a smokestack from the Carnation condensery? In 2007, the tulip artwork got a facelift with fresh red and purple paint.
Step back into time at the Old Grainery Building that is home to the Olde Towne Grainery Tearoom & Galleria and the Il Granaio Italian restaurant. If comfort pub food is more your speed, check out Skagit River Brewery offering mouth-watering burgers, wood-fired pizza and a wide selection of house-made ales.
