DAY 1 - South Whidbey

South Whidbey: Start your Island Wine Tasting Getaway in Mukilteo, take the ferry to Whidbey Island and enjoy the short drive from Clinton to Langley. Your first stop will be the Village Wine Shop And Tasting Room known for its specialty small batch, handcrafted wines made within Washington state. They offer a new menu of wine tastings every day. Your next stop, Ott & Hunter, is right around the corner! Working with Washington vineyards, they use traditional French and artisan techniques to create unique wines. Hop in the car for your next stop; Farmer & The Vine for Pacific Northwest wines paired with delicious tapas.

For dinner, you'll head to Blooms Winery in Freeland to enjoy creative cuisine, regional and international wine, art from local artists, and live music on the weekend! Try their 3 Sisters Beef burger grilled with roasted garlic aioli. It's topped with aged white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onion and cucumber then served on an artisan bun.

At the end of your first day, you can enjoy a relaxing night at the Dancing Fish Vineyards in Freeland. This seventy-year-old family-owned vineyard has a newly renovated farmhouse, winery and rustic barn surrounded with six acres of pastures and vineyards, apple orchards and perennial gardens.

DAY 2 - Mid Whidbey/North Whidbey

Mid Whidbey/North Whidbey: Head to Greenbank for day two of your wine tasting getaway. Holmes Harbor Cellars is on a 20-acre estate overlooking the harbor. This family-owned and operated winery uses only the best Washington grapes to create their delectable wines. Your next stop is Greenbank Farm Wine Shop. They have fruit wines, dessert wines, hard ciders, chocolate from Sweet Mona's of Langley and the Port Townsend Chocolate Company, and a great selection of gift items.

The beautiful scenery on the way to Coupeville will relax you. Once you get to Bayleaf in Coupeville, you'll want to take your time to browse their great selection of wine, local Whidbey Island treats like smoked Penn Cove mussels, Oystercatcher and Turner & Bea's crackers, Screamin' Banshee Bread, not to mention locally produced honey and jams. Don't forget to try their famous house-baked Salty Blonds!

For evening drinks and appetizers, go to Terrace Wine Bar And Bistro inside the Oak Harbor Harborside Village Mall. They feature over 60 red and white wines from around the world and 20 beers and ciders. Take a short walk to rustica - cafe wine bar kitchen in downtown Oak Harbor for dinner. Their seasonal menu offers a selection of pastas, flatbreads, and soups with wine pairings for each dish and more!

DAY 3 - Anacortes

Fidalgo Island: In the morning, head over Deception Pass Bridge to finish your scenic Island Wine Tasting Getaway in Anacortes. Your first stop is on the way into downtown Anacortes. The Store In Anacortes has an eclectic array of wines from around the world at great prices. If you are looking for a rare or hard to find wine, Compass Wines is known for its large selection of wines, beers and ciders from Washington and the world!

It's time for dessert! Indulge Wine & Dessert Bar offers all the heavenly wine pairings your sweet tooth has been craving! Your last stop is Salt & Vine. This cheese & wine bar has a wide selection of tasty charcuterie boards and local gourmet goodies to enjoy with your wine.
