The gift shop sells both pre-owned and new nutcrackers from renowned German makers. It's Christmas all year long at Kris Kringl! You may want to wear your walking shoes to traverse 6,000 square feet of themed trees, ornaments and home decor. These days, being able to peruse an actual brick and mortar book store is a delight. Nestled inside is Ganz Klasse, with an impressive collection of imported goods like art glass from Austria, European lace table linens and German food stuffs.
You can't very well shop til' you drop without proper sustenance! Enjoy a hearty breakfast at The Renaissance Cafe, with yummy offerings for all dietary needs. Try the Tofu Scramble or Hungry Hiker! When in Rome (or in this case, Leavenworth) try authentic Bavarian cuisine at Andres Keller Restaurant. From schnitzel to bratwurst, this is German comfort food at its best.
