Spring in Skagit is colorful and bursting with life, We savor every sunny day that breaks through the rainy days. No matter where you look, you will see green trees, red tulips, yellow daffodils, purple irises, or pink cherry blossoms. This issue of the In Skagit magazine is jam-packed with photos of Spring by local photographers and paintings by local artists.
We had originally planned to write only one article on unique lodging for this issue, but the more research we did, the more articles we had to write! There are so many neat places to stay in Skagit, from farm stays to seaside cabins to island resorts.
This issue's Charity Spotlight is the Anacortes Family Center. We could write numerous articles about this non-profit and still not run out of good things to say. AFC helps homeless families to get back on their feet.
