Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the country? Hoehn Bend Farm offers an amazing hands-on experience that gets you out of suburbia! It's called a "Farm Stay" and includes spending between two and five nights in a cozy farmhouse that was originally built at the turn of the century. The house has three bedrooms and one bath--it accommodates up to six guests and has everything you need to prepare meals and be comfortable while you explore the beautiful countryside just outside of the town of Sedro-Woolley.
During your stay, you can take an active part on a 30-acre working farm. Hoehn Bend has a menagerie of friendly animals--small Dexter cattle, chickens, Kinder goats, miniature donkeys, and Polly the Pig. Children of all ages will delight in spending time with the docile chickens, feeding the goats, and taking miniature donkeys (affectionately called "Dinkeys") for a walk. You may want to bring a watermelon rind for Polly the Pig--it's her favorite snack. When it's not raining, you'll witness the daily Chicken Parade, a most unique mode of transporting chickens between their coop in the barn and their outdoor enclosure!
When things are feeling pretty hectic in the city, escape to an enchanting place where life is simpler and memories are made. For more information, please visit the website for the Farm Stay at Hoehn Bend Farm: www.farmstayskagit.com
