Self-taught watercolor artist, Hannah Dunn expresses her appreciation for the beauty of the Great Northwest with her vivid and cheerful paintings. She nurtured a love for art her whole life and fell in love with watercolors in grade school. In High School, her art teachers encouraged her to pursue art, but it was just a hobby until her two youngest children were born. She moved from the mountains in Montana to Whidbey Island where she now paints full time while raising her three lovely children.
Hannah loves to create vibrant nature scenes, landscape vignettes and colorful animals. "If I had to choose my favorite animals to paint, I'd choose horses and mules. Growing up in Montana, they a hold special place in my heart. Oh, and I love painting fish too!" Her style is particularly adept at capturing the multicolored variety of fish in the PNW.
She's also an artisan maker selling Pacific Northwest themed stickers, greeting cards, and decals on her Etsy shop. She does several art shows every year where she sells her originals. If you would like to commission Hannah Dunn, you can contact her on Instagram at @hannah.dunn.art
